Does your son or daughter want to accelerate their education or open up their schedule for next school year? Summer school courses are the way to do it. Students can apply by clicking read more. There is a cost associated with summer school.

Attention Chestnut Ridge School District parents and guardians of students attending prom on May 12th:

In order for your student to leave school early and attend prom, please note the following guidelines:

1. Your student must have a written note stating that they are leaving school to prepare for prom.
2. Your student must stay in school until at least 11:00 AM.
3. Your student must submit the written note to the school office by Thursday, May 11th. Please note that we will not be accepting any excuses on Friday.
4. If your student does not come to school that day, they will not be permitted into prom.
We want all of our students to have a safe and enjoyable prom experience. Thank you for your cooperation in helping us make this a successful event.

Today's Varsity Softball game at Bishop Carroll is POSTPONED due to inclement weather and will be made up on May 17th. Please visit https://crathletics.org/ to stay on top off all schedule changes.

The Bedford County 21st Century Community Learning Centers Consortium will sponsor a summer camp program during the month of June 2023 at each of the county’s five school districts/charter for incoming K- through 8th grade students.
Students in grades 9th-12th are also encouraged to enroll to participate in leadership activities.
Students will engage in academic skills building, enrichment, recreation, arts, technology, environmental science and other STEM related activities and attend four planned educational field trips.
Summer Camp will run from Monday, June 5, 2023 through Thursday, June 29, 2023 and operate daily (Monday through Thursday) from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the Middle School Building (gr: K-5) and the High School Building (gr: 6-12). For more information please click read more.

Attention Chestnut Ridge School District community!

We are excited to announce our Spring Band Concert happening on Tuesday, May 2nd at 7pm in the Chestnut Ridge Middle School auditorium.

Come out and support our talented band students as they showcase their hard work in our final concert of the year. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged to help support our music program.

In addition to the concert, we will also be holding a basket raffle and pet food drive as part of the event. It's a great opportunity to give back to our community and show our support for our furry friends.

Don't miss out on this wonderful evening of music and giving. We can't wait to see you there!

The Chestnut Ridge High School Chorus Concert will take place on December 12th at 7pm.

The Chestnut Ridge Middle School Chorus Concert will take place on December 14th at 7pm.

Both concerts will take place in the Middle School Auditorium. There is no cost for admission.

The Chestnut Ridge School Board will hold the November meetings as follows. The Committee meeting will be held on November 8, 2022. The Regular Board Meeting will be held on November 15, 2022. Both meetings will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center at the Middle School and are open to the public.

The Chestnut Ridge School Board will hold its annual organization meeting and regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. These meetings will be held in the Chestnut Ridge Middle School Media Center and will be open to the public. There will be no Board Committee meeting in December.
